Name: EvanescenceEvanescence is a gothic rock band hailing from Little Rock, Arkansas. Formed by sexy leading lady Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody, the band distributed two EP’s amongst their small audiences from 1995 up until 2001.

This compilation contained hits such as “Bring Me to Life” and “My Immortal”. It sold 15 million copies worldwide, won the band 2 Grammy Awards, and stayed on Billboard’s Top 10 list for an astonishing 43 weeks.
Various members of the band resigned for different reasons, and Amy Lee soon enlisted Terry Balsamo from Cold, Tim McCord, and Will Hunt to continue on in hopes of stardom. Their dreams were achieved after releasing a second studio album, “The Open Door” in 2006.
